PAMGA Demonstration & Trial Garden
PAMGA
has a long term lease from McCracken County for a 2.5 acre plot on
Coleman Road in Paducah to be used as a Demonstration and Trial Garden.
For several years we conducted trials for the University of Kentucky
until the program ended. Currently we are attempting to show best
horticultural practices in small scale beds.
Much of the heavy work is done by volunteers from a local Halfway House. These men also plant and maintain a vegetable garden and the produced is for their use.
We also use the Garden for instructional programs, such as the 2009 program on making leaf casts and our annual plant sale.
